I am currently the Associate Director of Learning, Innovation, and Technology at The York School. I collaborate with the Director of L.I.T to establish yearly Learning, Innovation and Technology goals and long-term vision that aligns directly with the York School strategic plan. I also research, test and procure technology tools to support the K-12 Academic programme and L.I.T Department strategic plan. I also assist with the development of the K-12 Design Technology Curriculum.

When I’m not in the classroom I co-manage our L.I.T team to ensure all data security, network, and disaster systems and policies are up to date. I also Organize and help chair regular LIT team meetings and help steward and monitor daily short, medium and long-term projects.

I’ve been fortunate enough to work with Google on a few projects as well. This past summer, working on the  Google Earth Advisory board provided an opportunity to publish two Teacher Authored Voyager stories. One features the vast the freshness of water available in our great lakes called Blue Gold and the other talks about the great explorer Samuel De Champlain and how he used the Astrolabe to navigate his way to Canada. I’m also a Google Innovator, Hapara Teacher, and Raspberry Pi Certified Educator.
