Cohort members,

It has been just over two weeks since our last Face 2 Face session and so much has happened locally as well as globally. The Patriots won the Super Bowl, scientists have created a new metal and many of us have been through or are approaching a winter whirlwind of exams, reports and parent teacher interviews. Online our community has also been busy with action plan posts, comments and connections with one another. For those of you who could not attend the day… we missed you!. We will be reaching out individually to bring you up to speed and support you in anyway we can.

February & March = Action Plan Feedback & Support

Your action plans are now in motion. Hopefully you left MaRS with some new energy, clarity and purpose to drive your action plan forward. Throughout February and March the Cohort 21 team will continue to respond to your posts and push your ideas and thinking forward. If you haven’t posted your third face to face reflection we would LOVE to hear about how your thinking has shifted and what your next steps are. Remember, these are reflections and updates, not concrete findings or statements of position. The more you share the more you get back! Also reach out to your support group (remember the trading cards?) and connect via Twitter and Google + to refine your Action Plan further.

We also have a nice lineup of Action Plan tune-up opportunities for you to opt into. Below are some of the upcoming Hangouts that you can choose to engage with should you want to ask some questions, get some support or just say hi! We will add to them as more dates become available to our team.

The final face-to-face is the end of the beginning

As we set our sights on April 21st and our final face to face session you will have questions about what that day will look and feel like and how to best prepare for it. Our goal from the start has been to create a learning community that was authentic and meaningful to your own professional growth. To that end the Cohort 21 experience is all about the journey and the final face to face session is just another stop on that journey.

To do from now until April 21st:

  1. Action your Action Plan – Move forward with small or big steps (Feb-March)

  2. Leverage your network – Reach out for help, inspiration and support. (Feb-March)

  3. Share your Action Plan – Use this template (April)

  4. Reflect on the entire process in a final wrap-up blog post (April)

Don’t forget……………

The Final Face 2 Face – Friday April 21st @ Havergal College

We are planning a day that involves some high quality discussion, time to explore all of the action plans as well as some libations and celebrations.

Have a great Family Day weekend & March Break!
