Cohort 21 is not your regular PD experience. It is a highly personal learning experience supported by an active community of educators. Being a member of Cohort 21 means committing to a year long process of professional growth and inquiry. The Cohort 21 experience is facilitated through four face to face sessions that are interconnected through rich online collaboration and dialogue. Through the use of social media tools (Twitter,Google+, Your Cohort 21 Blog) and a Design Thinking framework you will connect and engage in a year long personalized action plan. This structured inquiry into the refinement of your practice will hopefully yield a valuable professional learning experience. But don’t take our word for it. Committing to Cohort 21 (2016-2017) means committing to the following four face-to-face sessions:

Saturday October 15th – Bayview Glen – 8:30am – 3:30pm

Saturday November 19th – The York School – 8:30am – 3:30pm

Friday January 20th – MaRS – 8:30am – 3:30pm

Friday April 21st – location TBD – 8:30am – 3:30pm

If you want to register for Cohort 21 you must be  approved by your Curriculum Leader, Division Head and/or Head of School for the 2016-2016 academic year. The cost of this professional development is $750 which will be billed to your school at the end September by CIS Ontario. We tend to fill up quickly so register soon to secure your spot.
