This year, I am coordinating the Year 6 and 7 program at the Wernham West Centre for Learning at UCC.  I divide my time working with students and teachers. With students, our goal is to build a toolkit of approaches to learning applicable to all subject areas. I also work with teachers to investigate best practices in education. I am energized when I learn from my colleagues and I feel good about my profession when school feels like an environment where members of a community feel seen and heard. I love to read nonfiction, and create experiences to help students to feel and do well in our world. I recently wrote a book, Bold School, about teaching thinking skills through an inquiry approach with fellow Cohort coach, Lara Jensen!
