Hi Everyone,

Please call me Andy. Currently, I am the Assistant Head of the Junior School at Ashbury College in Ottawa. Prior to working at Ashbury, I taught on Vancouver Island at Queen Margaret’s School and in Toronto at Crescent School and Windfields Jr. High in the TDSB.

I am a passionate educator and have learned a lot about the importance of creating relationships in my career. I believe everything we do in school starts with a good relationship. Whether it be with parents, students, or teachers, a positive relationship creates the trust and respect that allow educators to make a profound impact.

I have always been excited by change in my career. If done properly, it can energize a school for the better. In joining Cohort 21, I hope the changes that are inspired through my experience in the group will help me implement positive change at my school and in my career.
