screen-shot-2016-11-16-at-5-58-28-amOn November 28, CIS Ontario leaders and educators are invited to Ryerson University’s DMZ – the leading university-based incubator in North America – to learn about the CIS Ontario EdTech Challenge. It’s a unique opportunity for CIS Ontario teachers and schools to partner with leading Canadian edtech startups to explore opportunities for innovation in teaching and learning.

Edtech startups incubated at the DMZ are defining the classrooms of the future from assessments to literature and social development to tech skills development. Over the next four months, they’ll be working side-by-side with CIS Ontario teachers and schools to build and execute pilots to help teachers address key challenges faced in the classroom with innovative technology and solutions.

During the evening, you’ll hear presentations from each startup on their business idea and how their technology is transforming education in our school systems. Following the pitches, you’ll have a chance to network and discuss potential pilots and partnerships with your own school.
