I totally agree with this, Eric. 12-16 a magic number for me. When I have less than 12 or 13, I find it harder to create the energy necessary for engaging language classes. But I while heartedly agree that student-teacher ratio matters!
I’ve found that most teachers and students agree. Shame how that is not the reality for just about everyone in public education. Also shame the government doesn’t get it. Here is a ridiculous study worth reading:
