Once again, there’s something so special about coming together with such a dedicated group of educators, all bringing their unique perspectives from various schools. Even after 13 years with Cohort 21, I continue to be inspired by the unwavering enthusiasm in the room. The day was energizing, and each support group member shared something that made me think. This collective energy reinforces my belief that this space is essential for growth and collaboration. Thanks to The Uplift Collective.
The activity on analyzing what is urgent versus important was particularly valuable today as I unpacked my school to-do list. It prompted me to reflect on the underlying values that shape our professional and personal priorities. I could tell which projects and tasks feel most personally meaningful and reflected on the benefits of attaching an urgent timeline to making something important more likely to happen.
It is a strength to recognize the organizational forces embedded in our daily to-do lists and find clarity in what truly matters. I’m excited to dive deeper into the design thinking process with this team and look forward to how the Cohort 21 journey will continue to challenge, expand and UPLIFT our COLLECTIVE thinking.
