Great Librarian Blogs — that could inspire me to blog and Comic Life

Happy March Break.

I should be taking a break but I can’t face the -17C weather outside. So here I am reading and maybe even blogging, inside looking outside at everyone braving the Nation’s Capital’s winds.

Here is a one of my favourite librarian blogs – The Daring Librarian

Even Librarians can be superheroes!

Last April, I was fortunate to hear Gwyneth Jones, a Google Certified Librarian at the as a key speaker at the AISL [Association of Independent School Librarians] conference in Baltimore, MD. Using humour, Ms Jones was inspiring speaker and lead me to follow other tech-savvy librarians on Twitter and to streamline my digital curation. I also need to utilize the Comic Life app to make Online Catalogue instructions and students activity sheets. Check this Intro to Comic Life Ipad App posted the Australian teacher, Paul Hamilton.

Looking forward networking with fantastic librarians to the next AISL conference in Dallas-Fort Worth during April 2014.

  1. Hi Sara,

It’s so important to keep your networks updated and current, and I really liked your last two posts, because they demonstrate that this is what you are doing. It’d be great for you to incorporate your trip to Dallas for the AISL conference with your action plan. It’d be a great way to kick start and refine your plan!

    Looking forward to more,
    garth.
