As I look ahead to the new year, I realize I have not left nearly enough time for reflection (hence the lack of posts) and either have my students. As a result, I would like to focus my action plan on how I can use technology in my lessons as a backchannel for discussion and reflection. What tools, apps and devices best encourage reflection and inquiry-based learning? And how this fits into a Flipped Classroom approach?
This questions arises out of one main question I had which was: Does the Flipped Classroom have to include instructional videos? It is my hope to find an alternative way to involve students in the flipped classroom which allows them more control over their learning. Ideally, I would like them to moderate and monitor their own learning using technology.
Wish me luck Cohort21!
You are in good company 🙂 Lots of cohort members looking at this. See you Friday.
I’m also investigating this. Chat tomorrow!
