Written by One thing I never thought too much about was my own Digital Footprint. After reading about Amanda Todd and the tragic consequence of teens not understanding the power of their online presence, it has really been on my mind.
I think it is imperative that we bring these topics to the forefront of our lessons in citizenship.

I would love to talk more about this issue, and discover ways to insert these topics into our lessons without being too “preachy”. There are so many teachable moments involving this topic and I really should challenge myself to discuss it more explicitly in class.
