I opted to create a slideshow to demonstrate my action plan journey. My guiding question was, how might we deepen student understanding and foster a growth mindset in our students through project-based learning and inquiry?

Thank you so much to eveyone in my support group who helped to guide me through the process!
Hi Rebecca @roneill,
What a fantastic action plan journey you have been on leveraging a PBL and an inquiry-based approach to deepen student understanding and foster a growth mindset. I love that one of your biggest takeaways is that “when students were given the opportunity to think about ways they could apply their learning to the real world, that they were far more driven to ask questions and seek answers to their questions”. Developing these future-ready skills is more important than ever! I hope you continue your professional journey into Mindset, Inquiry, and PBL in the Classroom, as this is only the end of the beginning!
Cheers, Nicole
Thank you do sharing your Cohort journey, Rebecca. I am so happy that you found Bold School to be a helpful resource! I love how you described the value of productive struggle – “that when you allowed students to really work for their answers or to do a bit of the leg work themselves, that they became much more confident in their abilities as learners.”
