My last C21 post ended with a picture of a baby ultrasound and me writing, “It’s hard to put these initiatives on hold, but I know they’ll be waiting for me when I return.”
We’ll I’m back!
And I am super excited to be participating in C21 again and this year as a coach.
I’m riding the high of being back to work and back to school and loving this momentum. Instead of letting it overwhelming me, I’m excited about all of the things I want to focus on this year. My long-list of things to-do or things I want-to-do is motivating and I’m interested in how other teachers keep this energy throughout the entire school year?! I know C21 helped me last year. Having designated time to talk with passionate educators and focus on a personal project in such an engaging way was so inspiring. When I look back on my previous blog posts, I’m keenly aware of how I struggled with my HMW question and my blog posts were often reflective of this struggle. However, I am proud of how I put myself out there and was comfortable with the uncertainty. A number of times during C21 I was reminded of how our students must feel when they are confused or uncomfortable on their learning journey.
I’m super pumped for this next Season of C21.

Welcome back, Nicole! All the best with the return to work with a little one. I know that last year for me, doing all of that – work, mothering, and C21 coaching – it was a lot. But your energy and enthusiasm will make all the difference. Can’t wait to catch up on what you’ve been doing!
Thanks, Jen! Looking forward to catching up 🙂
So great to have you back, Nicole! I am looking forward to sharing your learning journey – meandering or not 😉
