About Nancy Dawe

I am a proud Newfoundlander who has called Toronto home for 16 years, where I am currently Interim Head of Student Support at University of Toronto Schools. My journey as an educator has taken me to Calgary (K-8 music), St. John's (K-12 music & social studies; undergraduate & graduate music education & curriculum studies), and Toronto (7-12 music & social sciences; undergraduate music education). In addition to my music and education degrees, I have a B.A. in Religious Studies & Women's Studies, a Master's in Teacher Development, and a PhD in Music Education. In addition to my passion for teaching and learning, I am a dedicated solver of crossword puzzles and an avid follower of curling and tennis.
