I am impressed by your action plan and addressing sure a important issue. What a great idea to tackle. Did you find that students that already had a “growth” mindset were able to assist the other students or did you have a different task for them.

I think that science is such a great medium for seeing your action plan in “gritty” action. Exploring questions where there are quantifiable results should not only engage the students but let them think of the bigger questions, why. Good idea.

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, that is the actual “briefcase” I carry from class to class. Got it at Michaels. It is supposed to be photos but the 16 individual cases work great for almost all smartphones. It is easy to see when one is missing!

Like you, I had many drafts of my second F2F. You sound like you have found an action plan that is inspiring. I am interested to see how things unfold as I am in the process of planning a new working space, including more working spaces and independent learning. Exciting things ahead. Well done.

I think I am good. It’s been super crazy here and I have been away on an awesome dogsledding trip this past week, so I have not spent as much time on preparing my action plan as I would have liked. I have accomplished a few tasks, including a couple of outside presenters to our school so I feel I am on my way.
