My students will be able to pause me, rewind me or fast forward me. This will be my hook to get them racing home to watch my Spanish lessons. It’s a tool that will help my students to think, problem solve and be able to access information whenever they need it. What am I expecting from them after their flipped lesson? Let’s see! ( They don’t know that I will be videotaping their feedback about the flipped lessons yet)
Maybe I should hurry up and film myself now that I’m tanned from March Break holidays. Gotta look good on camera!
I plan on using other educators Spanish video lessons as part of my flipped lessons even though I haven’t found that many out there. This is not a tool that is widely used in Hispanic countries.
Higher order thinking skills will be used during class time with hands-on and inquiry based activities. Lots of time for differentiated instruction. Little time for social chats with their friends.
