The results above represent the mathematical mindsets of The York School students.<\/p>\n In order to understand the results – this interval scale is needed.<\/p>\n This means that the majority of our students have a mindset that cannot be categorized or a low end growth mindset. Although, I have not been able to find scores of other schools, I imagine the results are similar in other schools. I continue to search for schools that have completed the same survey to be able to compare our results.<\/p>\n The good thing is that there are lots that we can do to improve one’s mindset about math and that is where “the end of the beginning” happens. By opening up this discussion, we have a starting point of where to go next.<\/p>\n My next task is to analyze each individual question in order to determine where we might best assert our efforts. At this point, I have not completed this analysis, but with the help of my colleagues, I am going to figure out Sheets and work to get a deeper understanding of the results.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" The results above represent the mathematical mindsets of The York School students.
