I wanted to shout, “YES!” when I read what the author says here, “When I am focused on how much there is to “do,” I lose some of my teaching magic\u2026and unfortunately, so does my audience.”<\/p>\n So, in the interest of finding that magic I’m working on\u00a0ignoring the boulder and getting back to what I know is truly important. <\/a>While trapped under this boulder I did manage to read this blog post <\/a>about meaningful teaching. It’s kind of miraculous when you find\u00a0someone writing about the exact thing that you are personally experiencing. Wasn’t it C.S. Lewis who\u00a0said, “We read to know we are not alone”? How comforting it is to find that I am not the only one who finds herself trapped under a boulder from time to time.<\/p>\n
