One of the activities that I connected to was an activity that Garth shared where we mapped the busier times within the school year to help have a feel of the ebbs and flows of crazy as an educator. It was interesting to plot all of the different milestones, events, and noise that we experience each year. It showcased the heat map of the year.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>To connect back to my How Might We question, I think I\u2019d like to do a similar exercise with my students. I\u2019m interested to see how different and similar the exercise would look from a student\u2019s perspective.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>One of the refinements from the silent feedback session included asking whether I meant self-regulation when I mentioned \u201cmanage their well-being as needed\u201d in my initial question.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>At times, I do think I get caught up in thinking about how Grade Six students would respond to an experience, it\u2019s important to remember that junior school is unique due to the variety and scope of age and stage.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The major challenge that remains is curating and finding enough meaningful and useful resources to fit the different needs of the JS community.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Help!<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>How Might we\u2026 move towards building a collection of resources for students to reflect upon and self-regulate their well-being as needed depending on their age and stage?
