Starting PD day off with lots of choice of physical activity (yoga,run etc) and other holistic options like (nutrition talks, meditation etc). If we want some of this for our students we as schools have to practice what we preach. January was oatmeal month for me 🙂 I have been eating cereal for breakfast for 40 years. It was time for a change. My mornings meal is now oatmeal with almond butter, coconut and some fruit. I have WAY more energy during the day and am fuller longer. I am looking forward to reading this book!</p>

The winter term for me can especially feel like how you describe that hamster on the wheel. Asking someone what they want to learn is much more effective after we prompt some thinking or show interest in who they are and what they already know. </p>
