I&#8217;ve had a chance to read, listen, meet and talk with other educators and it has been inspiring. Some highlights:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Listening &amp; Learning from the amazing people at the <a href=\"https:\/\/downiewenjack.ca\/\">Downie + Wenjack Fund<\/a>\n<ul>\n<li>I have been struggling for years (decades) on how to authentically learn and teach about history with our Indigenous peoples. This past year I signed up for the Legacy Schools programmed offered by the Downie + Wenjack Fund. They provided so many amazing resources, links, connections to people as well as being responsive to my questions and queries<\/li>\n<li>Lisa &amp; Sabrina were so kind with their time, stories and ideas that I&#8217;m still unpacking it all and what this looks like for me as a educator and how I can continue to learn and discuss and question, but in the end listen<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>talking and learning from <span class=\"atwho-inserted\" contenteditable=\"false\" data-atwho-at-query=\"@cele\"><a class='bp-suggestions-mention' href='https:\/\/cohort21.com\/members\/ckirsh\/' rel='nofollow'>@ckirsh<\/a><\/span>\n<ul>\n<li>You know when you listen to someone and you can just keep listening and time gets lost? I&#8217;ve been listening to Celeste&#8217;s podcasts for quite some time, and was lucky enough to be connected through a colleague (thanks <span class=\"atwho-inserted\" contenteditable=\"false\" data-atwho-at-query=\"@adamca\"><a class='bp-suggestions-mention' href='https:\/\/cohort21.com\/members\/adamcaplan\/' rel='nofollow'>@adamcaplan<\/a><\/span>!)<\/li>\n<li>I learned so much &#8211; listening, discussing curriculum, podcasts, how to build relationships with various educators + people &#8211; so much<\/li>\n<li><strong>IF<\/strong> by chance you haven&#8217;t checked out <a href=\"https:\/\/cohort21.com\/teachingtomorrow\/category\/teaching-tomorrow-show\/\">Teaching Tomorrow<\/a> &#8211; do yourself a favour.
