As an educator, do we need to feel this fear? Do we need to feel a drive for growth? Now, maybe fear is not the greatest motivator. So how might we rephrase this:<\/p>\n

Desire to be on the leading edge…
\nDesire to be a part of community…
\nDesire to be leading the change we want to see in our classrooms and schools…<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

There, that sounds better! And this is indeed what @ddoucet<\/a> just wrote about<\/a>, and inspired me to write about \ud83d\ude42 Because this is the transformation that many of our cohort are writing about: moving from fear to desire<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0… Just take a look at some of these blogs from:<\/p>\n

None of us are experts, all of us are empowered by what we don’t yet know. I’ve written about how my son has F.A.I.Led<\/a>, and others are writing about how, through Cohort 21, they know how their students feel.\u00a0Check out what @mjohn<\/a> writes about her students:<\/p>\n

These children\u00a0inspire me daily (as well as make we want to pull my hair out from time to time) with their perseverance\u00a0and their trust\u00a0that some day we adults will figure out how to help them learn best. They are all amazing, wonderful, creative, and intelligent human beings who have often spent most of their time at school failing. To me this is a tragedy, and it is what motivates me to find other ways to help them learn.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

These posts, and all the others from this year’s Cohort have sparked excitement in each other, and in our alumni. This is the beginning of a great journey! Where will it take you?<\/p>\n
