I was drawn to his story telling, and his conception of leadership, and this book does not disappoint. It shows that his understanding of leadership has been consistent over the years, and has allowed him to really deepen his mission, to make all of us recognize the leadership skills within.\u00a0 There is also an incredibly personal message about committing to Day One each and every day.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Drew Dudley - Speaker Demo Reel\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/910976563?dnt=1&amp;app_id=122963\" width=\"581\" height=\"327\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen; picture-in-picture; clipboard-write; encrypted-media\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Also, this past month, myself, Tracy Faucher &#8211; Deputy Head at Holy Trinity School in Aurora, and Graham Vogt, Deputy Head at Saint Margaret&#8217;s on Vancouver Island, wrapped up the inaugural year of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cisontario.ca\/professional-learning\/professional-learning-events\/leadership-lab\">CIS Ontario Leadership Lab<\/a>. While <a href=\"http:\/\/cohort21.com\/\">Cohort 21<\/a> Design Stream has been around for 13 years, this was the Leadership Lab&#8217;s<a href=\"https:\/\/cohort21.com\/garthnichols\/files\/2025\/05\/Screen-Shot-2025-05-04-at-6.22.43-PM.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-1298 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/cohort21.com\/garthnichols\/files\/2025\/05\/Screen-Shot-2025-05-04-at-6.22.43-PM-300x257.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"257\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cohort21.com\/garthnichols\/files\/2025\/05\/Screen-Shot-2025-05-04-at-6.22.43-PM-300x257.png 300w, https:\/\/cohort21.com\/garthnichols\/files\/2025\/05\/Screen-Shot-2025-05-04-at-6.22.43-PM-768x657.png 768w, https:\/\/cohort21.com\/garthnichols\/files\/2025\/05\/Screen-Shot-2025-05-04-at-6.22.43-PM-620x530.png 620w, https:\/\/cohort21.com\/garthnichols\/files\/2025\/05\/Screen-Shot-2025-05-04-at-6.22.43-PM.png 926w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a> inaugural year. Our vision of the Leadership Lab, and Drew&#8217;s book Day<em> One<\/em>\u00a0 is highly resonant &#8211; and so for all of those who were in this first Cohort, this is a strong recommendation.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Drew&#8217;s book is a compelling exploration of purposeful leadership that resonates deeply with the mission of the CIS Ontario Leadership Lab. Dudley argues that genuine leadership is accessible to everyone and emerges clearly when we identify and embrace our unique leadership purpose &#8211; a call to action that would be familiar to Leadership Lab participants as their Leadership Purpose Statement. For educators and early-stage leaders, particularly those involved in shaping young people&#8217;s leadership journeys, this book is a vital resource.<\/p>\n<p>You\u2019d be interested in this book, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.drewdudley.com\/the-book\/\">One Day<\/a>,\u00a0 if:<\/p>\n<ol start=\"1\" data-spread=\"true\">\n<li><strong>You believe deeply in the transformative power of purposeful leadership.<\/strong> Dudley emphasizes that leadership isn&#8217;t defined by achieving traditional markers of success but by daily actions aligned with a clear, articulated purpose.
