Cohort 21 – Season 3 Episode 1 – The Entrance Ticket Question(s)

A proven, effective practice in education is to begin each class, unit and year with a essential questions. These questions foster creativity, curiosity, and most of the time will not have an obvious answer. Rather, the answer will be unique to the experiences (both past and present) of the student. At Cohort 21, we believe the same practice can be applied successfully to teachers at the beginning, middle and end of the year.

“How will you grow your own learning?”

“What practices of the past meet or don’t meet the needs of students today?”

“How can you engage students through technology without sacrificing rigour?”

“How can you create your own professional learning network?”
