Where will your questions take you?

frequently-asked-questionsA proven, effective practice in education is to begin each class, unit and year with a essential questions. These questions foster creativity, curiosity, and most of the time will not have an obvious answer. Rather, the answer will be unique to the experiences (both past and present) of the student. At Cohort 21, we believe the same practice can be applied successfully to teachers at the beginning, middle and end of the year.

“How will you grow your own learning?”

“What practices of the past meet or don’t meet the needs of students today?”

“How can you engage students through technology without sacrificing rigour?”

“How can you create your own professional learning network?”

A good place to start to answer that question is by reading some of our past participants post cohort reflections. If that gets you excited then you definitely will want to look at some of the past member actions plans . Finally if you want to commit to a year of professional learning and growth then we would encourage you to register here.

  1. Garth,
I’m new to Cohort 21 this year, and I’m looking forward to embarking on this journey of professional growth! These are excellent questions to begin with, and I will be sure to take the time to reflect on them prior to our first F2F session in October.
