I teach Gr. 7 geography, Gr. 8 geography, Gr. 8 mathematics, and Gr. 8 English.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #333333\">I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in 2010 at the University of Western Ontario, where I completed an Honours Specialization in Social Justice and Peace Studies. In 2011, I earned my Bachelor of Education degree from the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.oise.utoronto.ca\/oise\/Home\/index.html\">Ontario Institute for Studies in Education<\/a>\u00a0(OISE) at the University of Toronto, in the Junior\/Intermediate Division.\u00a0 Since graduating from OISE, I have successfully completed ESL Part 1 and Special Education Part 1 AQ courses, as well as a Senior Law ABQ course. I am a member in good standing of the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.oct.ca\/\">Ontario College of Teachers<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #333333\">Presently, I am candidate for a\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.endicott.edu\/GradProf\/GPSInternationalPrograms.aspx\">Master of Education \u2013 International Education degree through the\u00a0 Van Loan School of Graduate and Professional Studies<\/a>\u00a0at Endicott College, MA, USA. This program blends online coursework with face-to-face classes (during the summer months) at independent, IB schools in Europe.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #333333\">I am the faculty supervisor for Ridley College Lower School\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.metowe.com\/\">Me to We<\/a>\u00a0Club. I know that children have a tremendous capacity to create positive social change.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #333333\">Finally, I am a firm believer in Nelson Mandela&#8217;s claim, &#8220;Education in the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.&#8221;\u00a0I have a special interest in service \/ experiential learning and international education.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hello &#8211; thanks for stopping in!
