{"id":54,"date":"2014-05-06T12:21:03","date_gmt":"2014-05-06T12:21:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cohort21.com\/aaronvigar\/?p=54"},"modified":"2014-05-07T17:54:31","modified_gmt":"2014-05-07T17:54:31","slug":"a-thank-you-to-teachers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cohort21.com\/aaronvigar\/a-thank-you-to-teachers\/","title":{"rendered":"A Thank You to Teachers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #222222\">Teachers,<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222\">We don\u2019t really have one of these in Canada, but in the US it is National Teacher Appreciation Day and, in the spirit of finding the good and making it your own, I\u2019m helping to bring it north.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<div style=\"color: #222222\">It can be a rather thankless job sometimes \u2013 we work with students based on the faith that what we are doing now will remain, or at least become, important to them in the coming years. It\u2019s a job that is tiring and challenging, and can make us run the gamut from joy and pride to disappointment and frustration (sometimes all in one class!).<\/div>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<div style=\"color: #222222\">Anyway, I just wanted to say \u201cThank You!\u201d for whatever it is worth. It\u2019s great teachers like you that made me want to become a teacher and great teachers like you that continue to reinforce in me that I made the right decision.
